Honestly, this is a very beautiful bridge, just that the conversion to the pedestrian bridge could be done better. Red codes were used to block off vehicle traffic, making us think that it's under maintenance and be wary of getting close. This bridge has contributed a lot to the trade of Singapore, even though now it had been converted to pedestrian bridge since Dec 2021, it continue to contribute as a beautiful attraction to the City skyline.
A popular location among wedding photographers and for good reason. Shot a pre-wedding session here recently, the unique structure of the bridge coupled with the beautiful surrounding area makes Anderson Bridge the perfect location for outdoor photography. Notable areas include the nearby field which feature the Victoria Theatre as a backdrop, as well as the tunnel that runs underneath the bridge itself which is popular for night-time portraits and street photography. Come early to avoid the crowd, as the bridge is also a popular destination among tourists :)

The bridge spans across the Singapore River and offers stunning views of the city skyline. The intricate details of the bridge, including the ornate metalwork and unique design, make it a true work of art. The lighting at night also adds to the bridge's charm and creates a romantic ambiance that is perfect for an evening stroll.
Aside from its aesthetic appeal, Anderson Bridge also serves as an important transportation link between the two sides of the river. It is a popular spot for tourists and locals alike to take a leisurely walk, enjoy the scenic views and take photos.
In addition, the bridge has been beautifully maintained over the years, and its historic significance has been well-preserved. Visitors can learn about the bridge's rich history and the role it played in Singapore's development through various informational boards that are placed along the bridge.

Beautiful view around this historical bridge... Just love it
Municipal engineer Robert Pierce, together with his assistant D.M. Martin, were responsible for overseeing the construction of Anderson Bridge. It features a basic arched structure made up of three steel arches, strong ribs, two archways, and a pier at the end.
Love the view around this historical bridge. Do prepare your shades, hat and sunblock. Gets really hot by 11am. I get 2 shades darker just for walking outdoor for an hour despite applying sunblock with SPF 50+++ all over exposed areas.
